Biography

Michele Calos is a professor of Genetics and member of Bio-X and Child Health Research Institute.She is a Chair of School of Medicine Appointments and Promotions Committee (2008 - 2010).She got Searle Scholar Award from Searle Family Foundation (1986).She is Vice President of American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (2016 - 2017)and President-Elect of American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (2017 - Present).She has done B.A., M.A.,from Oxford University in Zoology,Ph.D. from Harvard University, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Postdoc from University of Geneva, Biologie Moleculaire.

Research Intrest

novel strategies for gene and cell therapy, using gene therapy and regenerative medicine approaches.
