Biography

 Michael is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Geography at the Department of Geography and Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is currently LSE Co-ordinator of a Research Project under the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme, Sustainable RIO, which is addressing the role of sustainable development within EU policy-making. In 2008 to 2009, Michael served as lead consultant for a UNDP project developing a climate change adaptation strategy for the Palestinian Authority.
