Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery and joined the University of Bedfordshire in October 2011. Prior to this my career was clinically based. I am dual qualified as both Registered Nurse and Midwife. I have worked for 22 years in the NHS and have held positions throughout Maternity services. My main expertise is Labour ward care and the Birth Centre environment including Emergency Obstetric Care as I was a Labour Ward Co-ordinator and Matron for five years.
