Melina works in the BTA Smart and Sustainable Offices project funded by the Climate-KIC. She supports the development of a design guideline for Smart and Sustainable Offices for the Scandinavian climate. The development of the guideline will be done in collaboration with the project partner IVE in Valencia that are developing a guideline for the Southern European climate and Tengbom arkitekter in Sweden. The final outcome should provide architects and planners guidance on how to design offices that consume less energy, have lower greenhouse gas emissions and provide at the same time a healthier and more comfortable working environment to the employees.
