Biography

M.D.K Vithana began her career at the Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management as an assistant lecturer, after completing her Bachelor of Science of Agriculture (Honours) degree at the University of Peradeniya. She obtained her Masters from the same university in crop science and at the moment she is reading for her PhD at Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia in postharvest physiology of mango. Mrs. Vithana joined Wayamba University of Sri Lanka as a Lecturer in 2009.
