Biography

"Mark Haddad is currently Senior Lecturer in Mental Health at City University London, and Senior Tutor for Research. Prior to this, he was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. Mark initially trained as a general adult nurse and as a mental nurse, and maintained a clinical role in primary care mental health until 2014. In 2002, he obtained MSc Epidemiology and was awarded a Medical Research Council Clinical Training Fellowship, which formed his PhD study. His interests include depression, primary care mental health, epidemiology, and educational evaluation. Mark is a member of the RCN Mental Health Forum national committee, and served as a member of the NICE guideline development group for depression and chronic physical illness."
