" Marinos Ioannidis studied computer science at the University of Stuttgart in Germany where he graduated from Hewlett-Packard's central European research laboratory in the security of complex information banks. He continued his studies in the Mechanical and Automation industry and completed his doctoral dissertation with an excellent degree at the University itself. The final software developed during his dissertation is with 107 software licenses in popular universities and research centers across the five continents. He has participated in more than thirty-five research programs of the European Union in the last 20 years with an administrative or research role. From 2007 to 2010, he has been actively contributing to the establishment of the Archeology Research Center at the Institute of Archeology, STARC, and has been included in his research staff with the special permission of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Labor. Since January 2012 he has been fully responsible for the establishment and management of the research center for digitization of cultural heritage at the Cyprus University of Technology."
