From 1991 she is 1st level Medical Director for the area of Research, Functional Recovery and Rehabilitation at the Movement Analysis Laboratory of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute. From March 1st, 2005 to December 12th, 2014 she has been Associate Professor of Functional Recovery and Rehabilitation at the University of Bologna. From May 16th, 2011 she is Director of the Complex Structure of Functional Recovery and Rehabilitation of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute.
Her research interests include clinical application of movement analysis, particularly gait analysis, dynamic electromyography, joint biomechanics in the orthopedic and rehabilitation field.
