Biography

Prior to coming to PMU, Dr. Viets was an associate professor and chair of the Masters degree in Management program at the SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont. This was preceded by six years on the faculty of the University of Vermont School of Business Administration. Her earlier career was in business and management consulting in the US and New Zealand for Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, Inc., Fletcher Challenge, Ltd., and the Hay Group. She has created management development programs and consulted in the areas of strategic planning, organization development, conflict transformation and human resource management for such companies as Unilever and IBM and as well as to hospitals, governmental departments, NGOs and nonprofits

Research Intrest

Current research interests involve cultural impacts on the management of human resources, conflict transformation across cultures and women and leadership.
