Marcos Vinicius Francisco graduated in the degree of Full Degree in Physical Education from FCT / UNESP, Master and Doctor (FAPESP funding) in Education by the same institution. He completed a Doctorate Sandwich (CAPES funding) at the Carlos III University of Madrid in Spain and completed a Post-Doctorate in Education (CAPES) at the University of Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE). His studies and researches have emphasis in Education and Physical School Education, acting mainly in the following subjects: school bullying; educational policies to combat school violence; populations exposed to factors of social exclusion and vulnerability, and Physical School Education, from the theoretical references of Historical-Cultural Theory and the Critical-Overcoming Approach (epistemological basis of Historical-Dialectical Materialism).
