Assistant Professor of Finance, holds a Ph.D. in Finance, Glasgow University, UK and Licenciatura in Business Administration, CATÓLICA-LISBON. Prof. A. Marques teaches Corporate Finance, Advanced Corporate Finance and Short-Term Financial Management in the Undergraduate, MBA and Executive Education Programs. She is the coordinator of the Executive Education Program in Advanced Finance. Her main areas of academic and research activity include IPO's, corporate financing and security issues, working capital management, trade credit and inventory management. Professor Marques is an active member of the Financial Management Association (USA) where she serves on the program committee, and her research work has been presented at several finance conferences. She worked as CEO and member of the Managing Board in several organizations for some years, and was Executive Director of Graduate Programs in Management at CATÓLICA-LISBON having had the responsibility of launching the school's MBA Program.
