Biography

Author of more than 200 printed papers, of which 15 chapters of books, 140 publications on international journals with impact factor, listed on the Journal of Citation Reports, ISI.Research subjects: molecular pathology of protein synthesis; mechanisms of action of plant toxins (amanitin, ricin abrin, modeccin) and bacterial toxins (diphtheria toxin, shiga-toxin); biocompatibility of implant materials; virulence and toxicity of bacteria responsible of implant-infections; molecular bases of bacterial adhesion.
