Biography

I joined the University of Bedfordshire in June 2017, having worked in acute Trusts for the last 16 years.  My background has been in education, coaching and support for the last three and a half years.  I have been working as a clinical educator which involved being the Trust lead for Preceptorship and more recently pre-registration.  I have also taught in the classroom and in practice during this time. Prior to education my main area of expertise is within critical care. Although I have held positions in ITU and Critical care outreach my main area of expertise is within high dependency care.  I enjoyed the technicality and autonomy offered there and particularly liked inducting new members of staff to the unit and developing their competence.
