Polymeric materials and gels • Understanding structure and properties for polymer-clay nanocomposites hydrogels • Characterization of nanocomposite hydrogels by microscopy, rheology, and scattering (light, neutron and x-ray) • Synthesis of bio-nanocomposite hydrogels • Amphiphilic model conetworks forming microphase separation • Characterization of degradable polymer networks
