He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of São Paulo (1990), a master's degree in chemistry from the University of São Paulo (1993) and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of São Paulo (1997). In the years 1998 and 1999, he completed post-doctoral training at the Université Joseph Fourier de Grenoble I in France. In 2000, he approved the young researcher project at FAPESP and set up the Laboratory of Organic Electrochemistry at the Institute of Research and Development (IP & D) of the University of Vale do ParaÃba (Univap). Implemented and recognized the master's degree in Materials Processing and Catalysis in the IP & D postgraduate program before CAPES in 2010, coordinated the course between November / 2010 and April / 2014. In 2009 to 2016 he acted as coordinator of the undergraduate course in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism (FEAU) of Univap, recognized the course before the MEC commission in 2013 with concept 4. He was elected and assumed the position of director of the FEAU for the management 2016/2020. He acts as coordinator of the Research Group on Biomolecules and Catalysis, is a member of the Materials Research Group at IP & D. He is an Adjunct Professor at FEAU and works as a researcher conducting the synthesis, study and application of new materials. He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on New Polymeric Materials, working mainly on the following topics: polymer film, electrocatalysis, surface modification and application of new materials.
