Biography

Since 2014 she has been an Associate Professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Medicine and Surgery Faculty of Bologna University. Since 1999, she has worked at the Movement Analysis Lab of Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, where she has collaborated to many research projects related to movement analysis techniques, joint biomechanics, and functional evaluation of patients with orthopedic, rehabilitative and neurological problems. She was a physiatrist at the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of the Madre Fortunata Toniolo Clinic in Bologna. Working in a Sport Rehabilitation Center, she became experienced in the fields of athletes rehabilitation and performance training.

Research Intrest

Movement analysis, pedobarograhpy, joint biomechanics  particularly study of foot and lower limb in rheumatologic, diabetic, elderly and pediatric patients. 3D printing applied to medicine. Research in new technologies applied to rehabilitation, inertial motion units, biofeedback systems in rehabilitation field.
