Biography

I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1985. I worked at the National Spinal injuries Centre prior to undertaking the Child Nursing Course in 2003. I have worked at The University of Bedfordshire since 2004, initially as a Senior Lecturer in Child Nursing. In 2006 I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Academic Practice and in 2010 I completed an MSc in Health studies I have now taken on an additional role as Recruitment Lead for Pre-registration Healthcare Courses, which involves selection and recruitment of Healthcare students. Besides recruitment, my interests include Care of Children with long term conditions and Transition of young people to adult services. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1985.
