Biography

Lee-Anne Sackett is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of the South Pacific. She was educated and admitted to practice law in NSW, Australia. She holds a Diploma in Law (LPAB), Master in Laws (LLM) and Master of Jurisprudence (M.Jur) from the University of Sydney. Lee-Anne commenced teaching at the University of the South Pacific in 2014. Prior to this she worked as a Governance Advisor to the Ambrym Island Council of Chiefs in Vanuatu. She was responsible for primarily developing legal education workshops which was funded by the World Justice Project. In Australia, she has worked at a Community Legal Centre in Sydney Australia, primarily with asylum seeker and stolen Generation claims and in the Pacific Judicial Development Programme at the Federal Court of Australia. 

Research Intrest

Her main areas of interest are in Public International law and Legal theory.
