Biography

Dr. Eggleston Williams received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Masters of Science in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from State University of New York at Albany. Her research interests include matriculation, attrition and persistence of transfer students at junior and senior institutions of higher education. More specifically, she has studied transfer students in STEM at the two-year and four-year college levels. Dr. Eggleston Williams is passionate about looking at access and academic achievement holistically for underrepresented populations and minorities in higher education.

Research Intrest

Coordinate and provide instruction for Research Methods and Pharmacepidemiology course in COP (PHR 6123) which serves as an introductory research methods and proposal writing course Provide instruction for Fundamentals of Education Research course in COE (Ed 5960) which serves as a foundational research methods and master thesis or project proposal writing course
