Biography

Living in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, in close proximity to the University of Michigan, renowned for research in fields too numerous to delineate, cultural variety abounded.  Having received a BA in communication and having been a student of French and Farsi, assisting second language learners appeared a natural progression to the course of life I had traversed to this point.  The marvelous experience of successfully homeschooling three children, undergirded the churning ebb and flow of learning and teaching, an endless continuum.  After presiding over Krista’s Language Connection, servicing advanced degree students, visiting international scholars, and professors associated with the University of Michigan and Wayne State University with editing and presentation needs, the opportunity to pursue an MA in TESOL at Eastern Michigan University presented itself.  In 2010, I completed my degree requirements and subsequently taught ESL at Wayne State University, Eastern Michigan University, Princess Nora University, and am now engaged in the learning, teaching, mentoring environment at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
