Biography

"Katherine is a Senior Lecturer in Child Health. Her particular research interest is users’ expertise in developing effective intervention for child health, and long-term healthcare. Katherine started her research career in the R&D department of the children's charity Barnardos. In 2001 she moved to the Child Health Research and Policy Unit at City, University of London, to work on a range of primary and secondary studies exploring the implementation of long-term care and preventative health provision for children and their families. In 2008 she spent a year as a lecturer on the Sociology of Childhood and Children's Rights MA at Institute of Education (University of London). "
