Karekla Maria is Assistant Professor in Department of Psycology in Cyprus University.

Research Intrest

Individual difference factors and development of Anxiety Disorders and Human Fear Acquisition - Assessment and Treatment of Anxiety Disorders (especially in the use of innovative delivery methods, e.g. internet based interventions, use of VR technology) - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - Experimental Psychopathology and Emotion- Psychophysiology - Quality of life parameters - Enhancement of health behaviors and promotion of self-management of health-related conditions (including addictive behaviors such as smoking)
