Biography

Kakia Petinou holds a Bachelor's and Master's (CUM LAUDE) degree in Logotherapia / Logopathology from the University of Georgia in the USA, as well as a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of New York Graduate Center in the United States with specialization in Development psycholinguistics.

Research Intrest

Her research interests focus on the linguistic development of children with a slow evolution in speech and its relation to chronic linguistic delay (special language disorder, verbal inaction, phonological disorder). It also deals with early formal language development as well as with the development of language assessment tools for pre-school, preschool and school age children.
