I have been involved within higher education of health professionals for over 25 years. I joined the University of Bedfordshire in October 2007, have spent the past 15 years at the University of Hertfordshire. The previous ten years were in Manchester. Key features of my experience include collaboration with academic, administrative, clinical, commissioning and professional body colleagues; management within the Department and Faculty; contribution to University committees and a comprehensive understanding of programme development and quality assurance in higher education. Over the past five years as an academic manager, I have broadened my experience working with colleagues from all areas of the University.
