He graduated from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius "- Skopje, 1971. He graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Technology in Zagreb in 1975. In the academic year 1975/76 he completed his specialization in inorganic chemistry at the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris - France. In the 1980/81 academic year he resided at the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the University of Hamburg - Germany where he made the experimental part of the doctoral dissertation. In 1985, he graduated at the University of Zagreb with a scientific title as a Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of chemical engineering.
