Dr. Lu also holds a Bachelor's degree in architecture and a Master degree in community planning. Her design has contributed to construction of a variety of buildings now standing in China. Dr. Lu is a recipient of the American Council of Learned Societies Research Fellowship (2011-2013), as well as being a collaborator in projects funded by the National Science Foundation.
My research interests include population and employment analyses, urban modeling, spatial analyses, GIS applications in planning and transportation, geography of China, city planning and urban development, as well as environmental analyses.
