Biography

Jamelah A. Morton is Assistant Professor of the graduate program teaching advance pathophysiology, pharmacology, health assessment, and the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Jamelah A. Morton is a Barry Graduate. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2005 and her master’s degree as an Advanced Registered Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2008. She holds certifications in critical care and a neuroscience nursing. Her current clinical practice as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is in the specialties of Neuroscience and Internal medicine. Jamelah A. Morton is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Philosophy (PhD in Nursing) program. Her research interest is cultural influence of medical adherence in the hypertensive patient.
