Biography

"Studied at the University of the Free State and obtained a M.Sc in Mathematical Statistics in 1982 and a Ph.D in Mathematical Statistics in 1986. Lectured at the University of the Free State from 1982 to 2008. Deputy director at the Directorate of Institutional Research and Academic Planning (DIRAP) at UFS from 2008 to 2012. Appointed as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Statistics at Rhodes University in 2013. Teaches at all undergraduate levels in Mathematical Statistics and Honours and Masters courses in Bayesian Statistics and Data Mining."
