Ionut is a Nephrologist working at the Nephrology Department, "Gr. T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania. He studied medicine at the University of Medicine “Gr. T. Popa” Iasi, graduating in 2004. In 2011, he started a PhD on the evidence for treatment of diabetic patients with CKD stage 3b/4/5. His research interests also include cardiovascular complication in CKD patients, dialysis and transplant patients.
