Biography

I. J. Amadoru graduated with a B.Sc (Agriculture) specialized in plantation management from the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka in year 2010. Soon after graduation he joined the Department of Plantation Management, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka as a temporary demonstrator and in 2013 he was appointed as a temporary lecturer in the same department. He completed his Master’s degree (MSc.) in Agricultural and Bio-systems Engineering in 2014, from the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, University of PeradeniyaSri Lanka. Mr. Amadoru is currently working as a lecturer (probationary) in the Department of Plantation Management. Currently he is reading for his M.Phil degree on “Optimization of harvesting and processing techniques for Pogostemon hayneanus (Lamiaceae) by means of Phyto-chemical, Physiochemical and Bio Activity”.
