Mrs Govender was employed at the institution as a Research Assistant from 1989-1991, as a Laboratory Technician from 1992-2002, and an Associate Lecturer from 2003. She co- authored a poster presented at a Poster Presentation at 39TH Annual Congress on Medicinal Plant Research in 1991. Her findings have appeared in The Society for Medicinal Plant Research's abstracts of short lectures and poster presentations and in an article in "The Year at UDW 1991".
