Biography

Siegel has received his MD at New York University in 1995.  He then completed an orthopaedic residency in Los Angeles, CA at LAC/USC Medical Center in 2000.  Following residency, Dr. Siegel completed a 2-year fellowship in orthopaedic oncology  Adult Reconstruction at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 2002.  Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in Surgery at University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. . He has been the section head of orthopaedic oncology at the University since 2002. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Annals of Surgical Oncology.   He has authored over 30 research articles/books. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society. He has honored as being selected as one of the Top Doctors in America for orthopaedic surgery and for oncology. Research Intrest

Treatment of sarcomas, myeloma, melanoma, lymphoma and metabolic bone diseases.  Additionally, he is currently developing improved technology and techniques for total joint replacement and the treatment of pathologic fractures.
