Biography

Harinder specializes in machine learning approaches, annotation, database development, data mining and statistical analysis for a variety of data types. His main responsibly includes analysis of microbiome dataset using different statistical approaches. Currently, he analysing the microbiome and proteomic data of Type 1 Diabetes project. With his extensive experience in machine learning and database development, he is leading the development of prediction models and database development of forensic microbiome database (FMD). Harinder earned his Ph.D. in bioinformatics from CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, INDIA. He obtained his Master degree in Biotechnology from Thapar University and Bachelor in Science from Panjab University, INDIA.
