Biography

Hanna is an industrial doctoral student at the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, research group Engineering geology and geotechnics. For many slopes where the slope stability is unsatisfactory high pore pressures is one of the main potential factors causing a landslide. Studies of the pore pressure in the upper 10 m of the soil profile can give a better and more reliable prognostication of the water pressure in the profile. This means that the slope stability can be calculated in a better and more effective way.
