Biography

Gwyneth joined the University of Huddersfield in 2002 and is a Senior Lecturer at the University in the School of Education and Professional Development. She teaches on the Pre-service PGCE / Cert Ed (Lifelong Learning) course and is personal tutor for trainees intending to teach vocational subject areas including construction and engineering, hairdressing and beauty therapy, and hospitality and catering. She is also admissions tutor for this programme and Designated Academic Liaison Officer (DALO) for Rotherham College of Arts and Technology. After working for twelve years in libraries and college administration, Gwyneth began her teaching career as an English and history tutor in a local FE college, in addition to teaching on a number of undergraduate and teacher education courses at the University. Gwyneth has an M.Sc in Information Studies and an MA in history. She is currently working towards a Doctorate in Education.
