He holds a bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Paulista-Júlio de Mesquita Filho-Unesp State University (2005), a master's degree (2008), a doctorate (2012) and a postdoctoral degree in Obstetrics by the Paulista-Júlio de Mesquita Filho-Unesp State University in the Post- Graduation in Gynecology, Obstetrics and Mastology (Capes 5). He is currently a professor of Nursing and a permanent professor of the Master's Degree Program in Health Sciences at Universidade do Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE). It works mainly on the following topics: breastfeeding, high risk pregnancy.
