Biography

Originally from the UK, Elaine has lived and worked in Tasmania since 2008 and teaches across a range of courses and units in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the School of Health Sciences. Elaine is currently Launceston Campus Lead for the Batchelor of Nursing programme and has a particular interest in Nurse Practitioner development, which is her main area of research.

Research Intrest

Elaine's research aligns to the University's research theme of Better Health and relates specifically to the continuing development of Nurse Practitioners in Australia and their perceptions around career pathways and education opportunities.
