Dr Susan Clifford is the Project Manager of the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children's Child Health CheckPointis, a one-off physical health and biospecimen module for LSAC, taking place in 2014-15. The resulting databank and biobank will become possibly Australia's most important resource for Australian and international child health researchers for years to come. Dr Clifford has a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy & Physiology) with Honours. She completed a PhD in 2009 examining the health, stress, lifestyle and relationship characteristics of Western Australian Fly-in/Fly-out mining employees and their partners. Since 2009, Dr Clifford has worked as a post-doctoral Research Officer at the Centre for Community Child Health within the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. Her research interests focus on childhood obesity risk factors, health outcomes and treatment.
