PhD, from Centre for Studies of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. M.A. in Geography from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Her subject of specialization is Population Studies. Before joining NUEPA she was working at Sikkim University, Gangtok, she also taught for a term at St.BedeÂ’s College Shimla. Her area of research includes educational Participation, Access and Mobility. She has participated in national and international conferences. Currently she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Planning.
