Research Intrest

My interest lies in how biodiversity (at the species and population levels) and phenotypic diversity is generated and maintained through time and space. These questions span several different disciplines including ecology, evolution and development. I approach these questions using tools from genetics and working with both model and non-model animals in the field and in the laboratory. I’m also keenly interested in developing genetic tools (transgenic methods) and resources (genome annotation, etc.) in emerging model organisms
