Dr Purity Macheru is currently a lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Anatomy. She qualified as veterinary surgeon from the University of Nairobi in 1988. After her undergraduate training she worked as a Veterinary Officer II in the ministry of Livestock development for a period of three months after which she joined the department of Veterinary Anatomy at the University of Nairobi as an Assistant Lecturer.
