Dr Jennifer Koplin is a National Health and Medical Research Fellow-funded early career fellow with the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and the University of Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. She completed her PhD on the epidemiology of food allergy in childhood in 2011 at the University of Melbourne. She has recently completed a three-month visiting fellowship at the University of Bergen, Norway working on the large international research project RHINESSA, which is investigating respiratory and lung health throughout the lifespan and across generations in Northern Europe, Switzerland, Spain and Australia. Dr Koplin has supervised six honours students in the past three years and is currently co-supervisor for two PhD students. She is a committee member for Early to Mid Career Researchers Association (EMCRA) at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. Dr Koplin has published 29 peer-reviewed papers and two book chapters in the six years since commencing her PhD in 2007.
