Dr. Debtosh Kundu is currently a Chief Scientist & Head in the department of Sol-Gel Division CSIR Central glass and ceramic research institute India. He completed B.Sc. (Chem. Hons), University of Burdwan, M.Sc. (Inorganic Chemistry Special), IIT, Kharagpur, and Ph. D. (Sc), Jadavpur University. He got Deokaran Award in glass for the year 1985-86 (Indian Ceramic Society) for best paper in Trans. Ind. Ceram. Soc, CSIR Young Scientist Award in 1994 and Best Poster Paper award of Materials Research Society of India (2002, 2006 and 2009).
