Dr Amee Nair is serving as a Faculty with Institute of Science since May 2010. She is currently the Coordinator for Institute Level Academic Audit, Semester-III, Coordinator for Student's Welfare Activities . She is involved in teaching courses : Human Physiology, Neurobiochemistry, Animal Biotechnology, Research Methods, Neuroendocrine regulation of diabetes at Post Graduate Level and involved in active research. She is a Ph.D guide to 02 full time students. She is a trained neurobiologist working in the area of Neurobiological aspects of Diabetes & Epilepsy. She has received research projects as PI, from Department of Science and Technology (DST, Govt. of India) and from GUJCOST, Govt. of Gujarat. She has previously served as SRF in ICMR project on Diabetes as a function of Age at Centre for Neuroscience, CUSAT, Cochin. Dr. Nair has been coordinating various activities under Cultural Programme at ISNU since 2010.
