Adtola Adeoti obtained her Bachelor of Agric. degree from the University of Ife, Nigeria in 1985, and M.Sc. Agric. Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1987. She also obtained her PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan in 2002. Dr Adeoti joined the service of the University of Ibadan in 1997 as an Assistant Lecturer and she is currently a lecturer I in the Agricultural Economics Department. Prior to accepting the appointment as a lecturer, she had an extensive practitioner experience in Agricultural and Rural Development in both the private and public sectors.
Dr Adeoti’s research interests are in institutions and rural development, health economics, technology adoption, and gender studies.
