Biography

"Don Allensworth-Davies is an Assistant Professor with the School of Health Sciences at Cleveland State University and CSU Program Coordinator for the Consortium of Eastern Ohio Master in Public Health (CEOMPH) Program. He holds an MSc in Epidemiology and a PhD in Health Services Research from the Boston University School of Public Health and is Certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners. Don serves as a member of the Gender and Health Advisory Committee at AcademyHealth, a national professional organization for health services research, health economics and health policy. Don is also currently the Program Chair Elect for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Health Caucus of the American Public Health Association. Don currently teaches HSC 503 Research and Analysis in Health Sciences, HSC 504 Seminar in the Health Science Professions, HSC 691/692 Master's Project in Health Sciences and HSC 305/505 Culture and Healthcare as part of the Master of Science in Health Sciences program. He has taught MPH 602 Social and Behavioral Sciences in Public Health and currently teaches MPH 603 Epidemiology & Public Health as part of the CEOMPH program."
