Biography

Dimitris A. Tsouknidis is a Lecturer (tenure-track) in the Department of Commerce, Finance and Shipping at Cyprus University of Technology. He has been a full time and visiting Assistant Professor in University of Bradford School of Management (UK) and University of Reading Henley Business School (UK). He has been awarded a Post-doc Research Fellowship at the Department of Accounting and Finance in the Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece). He has published joint and solo papers in highly ranked peer reviewed academic journals and book chapters in edited volumes by reputable publishers in the fields of finance and shipping finance. He keeps close links with the industry through the delivery of professional seminars series on shipping finance and consultancy services to ship-lending financial institutions. He holds a PhD in Finance and an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece); and an MSc in Computational Finance from the University of Essex (UK).
