Biography

Dr. David Anderson is Associate Dean of the College of Science and Professor of Chemistry at Cleveland State University. He is also Director of Clinical Chemistry at CSU, directing the masters and doctoral programs there. The doctoral clinical chemistry program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Clinical Chemistry, the only accredited doctoral program in the US. This program has awarded over 50 doctorates, with graduates serving as directors at prestigious clinical laboratories, such as the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Anderson's research involves developing sophisticated HPLC and mass spectrometry techniques for the measurement and characterization of proteins, for the purpose of understanding disease processes and discovering new biomarkers of disease
