Biography

David Hall has specialized in optical imaging of cancer for preclinical and clinical applications since 1993. This includes his academic training in Medical Physics at University College London (UK), 7 years in industry at Imaging Diagnostic Systems (FL, USA) and then Chief Scientist, Advanced Research Technologies (ART), (QC, Canada), and currently as Associate Professor of Radiology, School of Medicine, at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Hall's research at UCSD, where he is PI of the Optical Molecular Imaging Lab at Moores Cancer Center, focuses on exploring and translating the novel opportunities for fluorescence imaging towards in vivo cancer applications. Hall is also a Diagnostic Medical Physicist (ABR Board-Eligible) for the Department of Radiology.David Hall has specialized in optical imaging of cancer for preclinical and clinical applications since 1993.
