D Balussou graduated as an Energy and Process Engineer from the Ecole des Mines d’Albi in France. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Chair of Energy Economics of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). His work at KIT focuses on the analysis of current and future electricity production from biogas in Germany with the help of simulation and optimization models taking into account various subsidy schemes.
